Ok, here is a short description of what I've done for last two weeks with my back pain and sciatic nerve pain:
1 - I spent two weeks in my bed. Yes, I decided to let myself to relax of everything that's going around (work, problems and etc.) Yeah, f**k all these things around you when you feel bad, of course except my family and close friends. I quit of all exercises and even walking around (or at the beach) for two weeks. My walking routine was walking to the bathroom, kitchen, sometimes balcony lol.
2 - Second I've started taking medicine such as Advil, if you have a chance you can try ibuprofen (but please, don't mix with alcohol and follow all directions), aspirin - this one could help you too to lower feeling of your back pain or any other back pain relief that you can find in your local pharmacy (drug) store.
3 - Stay warm: this one is really about the person. Every morning I wear socks, pants, jacket even if the temperature outside was around 80F (or 25C). Yes, this sciatic nerve pain happened at summer time, so the temperature outside was high and I was wear all this stuff.
4 - Drink more water, tea, but not an alcohol. Yes, you must quit of any alcohol, because alcohol maybe will kill the pain, but temporary, but from other side alcohol will kill your muscles too. Muscles will become so soft and that quick, that you even didn't notice this. Please, stay away from alcohol!!!
5 - Keep your Diet. I'm not saying Diet is everything, loose you weight immediately (this one can be dangerous and very depending on person). I'm trying to keep my "all-day" meals with 2000 cal or less. I'm avoiding sugar, big portions of any food, but salad, different kind of sodas and etc. You can find diets and a lot more about healthy style in internet. But, if you decided to be on strong diet, please, talk to your doctor, because this one can be dangerous for you.
This five items will help you to fight with sciatic nerve pain, back pain. Also, this is just my advice and how I'm fighting with this disease. All these recommendations are not proven by any doctor, but these recommendations are worked for me.
How did you do? Are you better now?
